The PM Surya Ghar scheme crossed 50 lakh rooftop solar installations in August 2026, just over two years after launch. July 2026 recorded the highest monthly installations since the scheme began.
The scheme is expected to reach over 75 lakh households by December 2026 and targets one crore by March 2027.
